About Us
My name is Frank DePrato and my wife Melissa and I created Vintage Visions from the desire to decorate our 126 year old house for Christmas with items that look like they truly belong in and from the era of our dream home. After we purchased a vintage Santa Claus, sleigh and reindeer that was originally offered in a Sears and Roebucks catalog, it became one of our favorite outside Christmas decorations. Due to its true age and the inferior material from years ago, it quickly began to deteriorate and fall apart. Having 30 years in the design and sign industry I began to develop a superior product with newer technically advanced material that does not only look like it belonged in the time period, but would also be a great investment for a lifetime of enjoyment. It is our desire to put both family and Christ back in Christmas, so the decision to have a beautiful Holy Family Nativity set and a traditional Family of Carolers as our first offering was an easy decision. With high expectations of the sets growing each year to include animals, shepherds, wise men and more characters to join the family of carolers, our goal is to fill Christmas with many smiles and visions of the past.
